Commissioner Harold Pitner moved to approve Resolution 2023-02-04 to appoint a judicial commissioner; Commissioner Ronnie Allen seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Pitner then moved to approve three additional resolutions — Resolutions 2023-02-06, 2023-02-07 and 2023-02-08 — to confirm members to the Sevier County Industrial Development Board, the Sevier County Public Building Authority and the Sevier County Health, Education and Housing Facilities Board. Commissioner Dale Hill seconded the motion, which also passed unanimously.
Commissioner Ronnie Allen moved to approve Resolution 2023-02-09 to confirm members to the Sevier County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors; Commissioner Harold Pitner seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The committee then voted to approve the agenda for the Feb. 20 meeting with an amendment to remove the Sevier County Beer Board member appointment until the March 2023 meeting; Commissioner Dale Hill seconded that motion and it passed unanimously. (The transcript lists the agenda date as Feb. 20, 2022; that appears to be a transcription error and the committee’s action pertains to the upcoming Feb. 20 meeting in 2023.)
