Commissioner Steve Shuford introduced the proposal (Res. 2025‑067). After discussion, Commissioner Steve Mason moved to table the resolution to the next meeting; that motion carried on a roll‑call vote, 13‑8. Following that vote, the commission voted 20‑1 to schedule a workshop on July 14 at 6:30 p.m. to review the proposal further.
