Fair association asks Bland County for carnival funding; youth sports seeks county oversight

Ashley Kirk, speaking as a representative of Bland County Youth Sports, asked the board to bring the youth league under the direction of the Board of Supervisors. County Administrator Dr. Eric Workman invited Kirk to follow up with him after the meeting to discuss the request.
