Chairman Adam Kidd called the continued meeting to order at the Bland County Courthouse. Supervisor Randy Johnson moved to approve the meeting agenda; Supervisor Keith Costello seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Supervisor Stephen Kelley then moved “to authorize the County Administrator to advertise the FY24 Budget.” Keith Costello seconded. A roll-call vote recorded Kelley, Costello, Johnson and Chairman Kidd voting yea; the motion passed unanimously. The board’s action authorizes publication and formal notice required to begin the FY24 budget review and hearing process.
After the budget-advertising motion, Supervisor Randy Johnson moved to adjourn and Supervisor Stephen Kelley seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The board set its next regular meeting for May 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Bland County Courthouse.
