Commissioners discussed reviewing EMS operations and potential restructuring to reduce taxpayer costs. Kelle Bosley said commissioners had received questions about EMS and stressed the county is reviewing options in the interest of taxpayers, and discussed outreach such as career days to attract younger workers. The minutes record that Cindy, an EMS employee, is currently released for light duty and that commissioners plan to discuss the EMS Medical Director position with her upon her return to work; no final decision on the Medical Director role was recorded.
