Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve the Jan. 13 commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 13 Salary Board minutes; both motions passed with the board recording 'All in favor.' Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve accounts payable dated Jan. 20, 2026, totaling $159,968.15; the minutes list a fund-level breakdown that includes $140,001.80 in the General Fund, $7,356.00 in Liquid Fuels, $2,291.00 in Capital Projects, $6,594.03 in Debt Service, and smaller amounts in other funds. That motion also carried unanimously.
Commissioner Hann then moved to approve payroll dated Jan. 23, 2026, in the amount of $126,747.73; the board recorded the motion as 'All in favor.'
During Treasurer's Office updates, Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop presented several administrative items. Commissioner Hann moved to approve the 2026 CCAP Eighth Class dues invoice for $10,323.00, to execute a credit card approval form for Prothonotary Stephanie Sherman, and to approve the CCAP PCorP renewal application as presented by insurance agent Bobby Snyder. The board also approved a CCAP PComp second installment invoice for $5,575.00 (noted as part of a total contribution of $22,300.00). All actions were recorded as unanimous.
Services for Children Director Christine McQuade met briefly with the board to discuss a potential hire for a Caseworker II and said she would obtain quotes for a printer and projector. The board entered and exited executive sessions for personnel matters (entered at 11:22 a.m., exited at 11:27 a.m., re-entered at 11:30 a.m., and ultimately exited at 1:10 p.m.). The meeting adjourned at 1:36 p.m.
