At their Feb. 3 meeting, the Fulton County commissioners approved several administrative and budget-related items, including authorization for MATP allocation letters and temporary reassignment of committee duties.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to authorize Commissioner Steven L. Wible to execute MATP Allocation Letters for FY 2024–2025 and FY 2025–2026 in the amounts of $464,875.00 and $491,875.00 respectively; the motion carried "All in favor." The two allocations total $956,750 across the two fiscal years.
The board also approved travel requests for Services for Children staff to attend the PA Children and Youth Administrators Conference March 11–13, 2026 in State College, PA, and approved a laptop quote submitted by Rick Grissinger, Elect IT, described in the minutes as "to be used in Franklin County for the purpose of Jury Coordinator duties." The minutes record approval of an invoice from Franklin County Fiscal for Fulton County court costs for the fourth quarter of 2025 in the amount of $38,819.27 (described as 10% of court wages and benefits).
In personnel actions, after an executive session on personnel matters the commissioners voted to appoint Commissioner Wible to perform committee duties for a colleague once that colleague's medical leave begins; the motion was recorded as unanimous. The minutes do not identify the colleague by name or provide a start date for the medical leave. The minutes also record two executive sessions (legal and personnel) and a Tax Appeal Hearing where Commissioner Wible abstained due to a conflict of interest; separate minutes for the hearing are on file.
The approvals bundle several routine administrative authorizations and a temporary reassignment to assure continuity of committee representation during an upcoming medical leave; minutes provide amounts and approvals but limited implementation details.
