At its June 16, 2025 meeting, the Grant County Water Resource District reviewed operational updates for Raleigh Reservoir and Sheep Creek and examined an update to the Raleigh Emergency Action Plan.
Board members recorded that septic pumping at Raleigh Reservoir has been completed, that recent rains have caused some washing on the access road, and that plumbing repairs at the site have been finished. Tractor work on the dock at Raleigh and caretaker arrangements for Raleigh and Sheep Creek were noted in the meeting record.
The board scheduled a work day at Sheep Creek for Thursday, June 19, 2025, to address routine maintenance and cleanup.
Directors reviewed the Raleigh Emergency Action Plan and identified numerous contact-information items that should be updated. Secretary/Treasurer Julie Levorsen will contact Houston Engineering to explore options for updating the plan.
The board also reviewed a policy concerning the public comment process tied to SB 2180; the record states the board will finalize the policy at its July meeting.
The meeting concluded after these operational items and routine business.
