The Grant County Water Resource District approved the minutes from its Nov. 18 meeting and the November 2024 financial report and authorized payment of $8,446.39 in bills at its regular meeting on Dec. 16, 2024.
Director Gary Meyer moved to approve the Nov. 18 minutes and the November financial report; Chairman Jerald Christensen seconded both motions and the board carried them. The board then reviewed a bills list that totaled $8,446.39, including payments to Southwest Water Authority; Mor Gran Sou (Raleigh & Sheep Creek); Milt’s Building Supplies; Lince Sanitation; ENG Curbing and Concrete (balance of sheep creek shelter); City of Elgin; Levorsen Accounting & Tax PC (rent); and pay vouchers.
Gary Meyer moved to approve and pay the bills; the minutes record that Harold Gaugler seconded the motion and that it "carried." The attendance line at the start of the minutes records Harold Gaugler as absent; the minutes do not explain the discrepancy between the attendance notation and the later listing of Gaugler as seconding the bills motion.
The board also reviewed and approved the 2025 meeting date schedule before adjourning. The meeting was recorded as called to order at 6:30 p.m. and adjourned after the schedule vote.
