The Morton County Commission on June 6 approved its agenda, accepted the May 28 regular-meeting minutes and authorized $1,050,845.25 in county expenditures covering May 29 through June 6, 2024.
The actions occurred at a brief meeting called to order by Chair Nathan Boehm at 5:30 PM at the Morton County Courthouse in Mandan. Commissioner Morrell moved to approve the agenda; Commissioner Buckley seconded, and all members present voted aye (Boehm, Morrell, Buckley, Zachmeier). Buckley then moved, with Morrell seconding, to approve the May 28 minutes; that motion also passed unanimously among those present.
Commissioner Buckley moved and Commissioner Zachmeier seconded the motion to approve bills and payroll. On a roll-call vote, Commissioners Morrell, Zachmeier, Buckley and Chair Boehm voted yes and the commission authorized total county expenditures of $1,050,845.25 for the period of May 29–June 6, 2024. The meeting concluded after a motion by Morrell to adjourn, seconded by Zachmeier; the commission adjourned at 5:37 PM.
