The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners unanimously approved several routine financial items on Feb. 2, including abatement 2025‑77, January payroll and accounts payable.
Commissioner Shawn Thomas moved to approve abatement 2025‑77 for $431.98; Commissioner Dennis L. Rolfs seconded and the motion carried 3‑0. Thomas then moved to approve January payroll totaling $321,403.81; Rolfs seconded and the motion carried 3‑0. Thomas later moved to approve January accounts payable of $719,430.07 plus prewritten warrants of $10,989.21 for a combined total of $730,419.28; Commissioner Gregory C. Bender seconded and the motion carried 3‑0.
The board reviewed the 2025 county inventory during the meeting; the minutes do not record any formal action on the inventory. Commissioner Dennis L.
