County planner says Emerson Park site will have FEMA trailers for sale or rent, not immigrant housing

"It will not be immigrant housing," Shubert said, and the transcript notes that owner Clay Thomas has released a video on his Facebook page about the project.
County Manager Scott Moye and commissioners briefly discussed other road and design work in the county during the same segment; no formal action, permitting decision or formal public hearing on the Emerson Park project was recorded in the meeting minutes.
The board did not take action on the matter during the meeting; staff indicated the development is a private project and that county planning staff characterized the current plan as sales/rentals of trailers rather than migrant housing.
