During the public comment portion of the April 2 workshop, resident Clyde Leonard (3121 6th Ave) asked the board to install speed bumps on Short Street to slow traffic.
Public Works Director Jason Jordan responded that staff could install a stop sign at the intersection of Short Street and 4th Avenue as a traffic-calming measure. The board did not take action at the workshop but public works staff recorded the request for follow-up.
No formal change to traffic-control devices was approved at the workshop; staff will evaluate the request and propose a course of action to the board as needed.
