Commissioner Allison Willis moved to adopt a resolution certifying the abandonment of Farm Road during the Screven County Board of Commissioners’ meeting on Oct. 12, 2021. Commissioner Edwin Lovett seconded the motion.
The vote split three in favor and four opposed: Commissioners Allison Willis, Edwin Lovett and Mike Dixon voted in favor; Chairman Will Boyd, Commissioner John O. Triplett, Commissioner J.C. Warren and Commissioner Rosa Romeo voted against the resolution. The motion failed for lack of a majority.
