The Fayette County Board approved a request by the U.S. Soccer Federation National Training and Headquarters to connect to the City of Fayetteville’s sewer system. Planning Director Deborah Bell said the City provided a letter of sewer availability confirming the city would construct the necessary infrastructure to support the request and that there was no objection from the City. Commissioner Charles D. Rousseau raised concerns about previous unapproved site activity; Environmental Management Director Bryan Keller said those land-disturbance issues had been resolved and the developer was now communicating with the county. The motion to approve passed 5-0.
