The Charles Mix County Board of Commissioners accepted two personnel resignations during its Dec. 11 meeting. The board accepted the resignation of Deputy Sheriff Cindy Porter, effective Dec. 9, and the resignation of WIC assistant Jerika Wernke, effective Dec. 19 (motion by Nick Stotz; second by Kory Standy).
The board voted not to change the county’s bonus eligibility policy (motion by Chairman Colin Soukup; second by Kory Standy). Separately, the board approved a donation of 16 hours of sick time from employee Rod Wright to another employee (motion Standy; second Stotz). All motions carried unanimously.
