The Charles Mix County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 2025‑12 authorizing year‑end transfers: $4,500 from the General Fund, of which $4,300 was designated for the 911 Communications Fund and $200 for Emergency Management Services. The resolution was adopted by motion at the Jan. 5 meeting; the minutes state the transfers occurred prior to Dec. 31, 2025.
The board also approved a personnel action transferring 16 hours of sick time from employee Rod Wright to another employee; the minutes do not identify the recipient. Both actions were approved unanimously and recorded in the meeting minutes.
During the meeting Highway Superintendent Doug Cimpl and Kent Austin of Loiseau Construction reviewed the advantages of full depth reclamation for existing paved roads. The minutes record the presentation and note that the board took no action at this time.
