Board authorizes County Manager to negotiate auditor contract for FY2019 audit

County Manager Curtis S. Potter recommended the firm after reviewing proposals and asked the Board to authorize negotiation subject to returning a final contract to the Board for approval. Commissioner Phelps said he wanted a penalty clause included so that any cost increases would be brought back to the Board for approval. The Board approved authorization to negotiate by unanimous vote.
What’s next: The Manager will negotiate terms and return a proposed contract to the Board for formal approval.
