After the closed session, the board returned to open session and adopted the certification required by Virginia Code Section 2.2-3712.B, with a roll-call vote again showing all supervisors voting Aye.
The certification states that, to the best of each supervisor’s knowledge, only matters lawfully exempted from open-meeting requirements were discussed and that only topics identified in the motion were considered. The board did not publicly disclose the content of the evaluation during the open session.
