Supervisors press for correction to broadband coverage maps after resident reports

Chairman Gary D. Walker asked Administrator Daniel Witt to invite Seiontech—the firm that appears on the county's mapping data as a principal provider—to a future board meeting so supervisors can question how the maps are compiled and how reported coverage is verified.
No formal action or vote was recorded; supervisors asked staff to pursue a meeting with the vendor and to continue seeking clearer coverage data for residents.
