The bids were opened after the Board amended the agenda earlier in the meeting to add the training-center bid opening at 10:00 a.m. Chairman Thad Nearmyer and Supervisor Cupples recorded the addition and the opening in the minutes. The minutes do not include bid amounts or contractor names; the Board did not award the contract at the Feb. 17 meeting.
The Board entered a work session immediately after the regular meeting to continue discussion. County staff and the Board will review options — which could include rebidding, revising the project scope, seeking additional funding, or pausing the project — but no specific path was decided at the Feb. 17 session.
