Countywide Planning Commission recommends Ira Tane as chair, names Cassie Clark Ward-Hunt vice chair

At its Feb. 3 meeting the Countywide Planning Commission unanimously recommended Ira Tane for chair and Cassie Clark Ward-Hunt for vice chair; routine meeting business including approval of minutes and the agenda also passed 8-0.
The Countywide Planning Commission unanimously recommended new leadership at its Feb. 3, 2025 meeting. Cassie Clark Ward-Hunt moved to recommend Ira Tane for chair; Dan Cleary seconded and the motion carried 8-0. Later in the meeting, Tane moved to recommend Cassie Clark Ward-Hunt for vice chair; Dan Cleary seconded and that motion also passed 8-0.
The commission began the meeting at 5:32 p.m. and recorded the presence of eight members: Michael Good, Ira Tane, Greg Roy, Steve Rossetter, Dan Cleary, Cassie Clark Ward-Hunt, Steve Alberico and Becky Walter. Greg Roy moved to approve the Summary of Motions from March 4, 2024 (with changes proposed by Michael Good); Dan Cleary seconded and the summary was approved by an 8-0 vote. The meeting agenda — modified to include the chair appointment — was approved by an 8-0 vote after a motion by Greg Roy and a second by Dan Cleary.
