Morgan County commissioners on Nov. 18 accepted Public Works Director Bruce Bass’s recommendation and awarded the county’s fuel RFP (2025-1023-001) to Senergy Petroleum for $6,675.
Bass reported four bids: Pynergy Petroleum ($7,075), Senergy Petroleum ($6,675), Austin Logistics LLC ($67,450), and G4 Energy, LLC ($9,430). After summarizing details of each bid, Bass recommended awarding the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, Senergy Petroleum. Commissioner Kelvin S. Bernhardt moved approval and Commissioner Tim Malone seconded; the motion carried 3-0.
Why it matters: The award sets vendor and price terms for county fuel procurement under the identified RFP and will govern fuel purchases for the contract period cited in the procurement documents.
