Butler County supervisors approve elected-official salary adjustments and 5.7% raise for non-deputy staff

At its April 23 meeting the Butler County Board of Supervisors approved salary adjustments for elected officials and a countywide pay increase for non-elected staff.
County Auditor Leslie Groen reviewed Resolution No. 858-24, which implements the Compensation Board’s recommendations for elected officials for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024. The board voted to adopt the approved salaries listed in the resolution. The approved annual salaries recorded were: Auditor $75,818; County Attorney $106,442; Recorder $75,818; Sheriff $106,070; Supervisors $34,564; Treasurer $75,818.
Separately, the board approved a 5.7% cost-of-living increase for all non-elected, non-deputy county employees, including the IT director. Both the resolution and the employee pay increase were approved by unanimous vote.
The salary adjustments are effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024. Auditor Groen attested the resolution, and the board recorded the vote in the meeting minutes.
