The transfers recorded in the clerk’s packet include amounts designated for emergency communications equipment and county clerk building costs (line items 01-9100-741A and 01-9100-741B are listed). The court approved the bundle of transfers by recorded motion.
Judge-Executive Mason Barnes also announced a special-called meeting at 1:00 PM that afternoon with Spurr Architecture, PLLC to discuss design plans, mechanical specifications and projected construction costs for a proposed Simpson County Clerk’s building. The clerk’s vendor list shows a $44,000 invoice to Spurr Architecture on the claims register approved at the meeting.
The motions to transfer funds and to approve the bills and claims, including the Spurr Architecture invoice, carried unanimously on the recorded votes.
