Zone change for 4055 Sweet Home Road deferred after public hearing

Evans, Sr., seconded by Chris Gilmore, was made to defer action on the zone change for three months; the Planning Commission had previously voted 5–1 in favor with 3 absences. The Legislative Body approved the deferral by voice vote (Resolution 8).
The minutes record the property is in the 3rd voting district and is not in a Special Flood Hazard Area. No formal approval or denial of the requested rezone was made; the matter was deferred for further consideration.
