Council members urge water protection, discuss shared services and cemetery expansion

Councilmember Greg Brimhall told the Sept. 6 meeting he attended the League of Cities and Towns and said Snowflake needs to "try to protect our water."
Town Manager Brian Richards, who also attended the League, recommended that Snowflake continue exploring shared services with the nearby Town of Taylor "as much as possible to save the communities money." Richards also reported that an expansion of the town cemetery to the north, which was approved about a year earlier, has run into problems that are delaying implementation.
Lynn Johnson thanked community volunteers and staff who participated in a recent school/community cleanup during council member reports. The meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
