Chairman Johnny Hughes called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Committee member Dave Van Buskirk moved to approve the July 6 minutes; Iris Rudder seconded the motion and the committee recorded all ayes.
Committee member Eddie Clark then moved "to recommend (14) notary applications be sent to full commission for approval," and Dave Van Buskirk seconded. The motion passed on a unanimous voice vote, recorded in the minutes as "all ayes." The minutes do not list individual recorded votes beyond the unanimous outcome.
Clark later moved to adjourn; Van Buskirk seconded and the committee voted to adjourn. The minutes are signed "Respectfully Submitted, Johnny Hughes, Chairman" and note Secretary Mary Sons as present.
The committee's action forwards the notary applications to the full Franklin County Commission for final approval; the minutes do not specify a date for the full commission vote.
