Franklin County commission approves three rezoning requests from Planning & Zoning

The first rezoning changed a parcel from R-2 (General Residential) to Commercial (C) in the 20th Civil District (Franklin County Property Map no. 46). Barbara Finney moved to approve the rezoning; Carolyn Wiseman seconded; the motion carried by voice vote, 16–0.
The second rezoning converted R-2 to C-1 (Commercial Restricted) in the 9th Civil District (Property Map no. 37). The motion to approve was made by Johnny Hughes and seconded by Barbara Finney; approved 16–0.
A third petition converted A (Agricultural) to R-1 (Single Family Residential) in the 5th Civil District (Property Map no. 86); motion by Barbara Finney, second by Carolyn Wiseman; approved 16–0. The minutes record the approvals without recorded dissent or conditions.
