The Board of Franklin County Commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 20 to appoint Michelle Earle to fill the 6th District Seat B. Chairman David Alexander called the meeting to order, and Barbara Finney nominated Michelle Earle; Angie Fuller seconded the nomination. Commissioner Eddie Clark moved to close nominations and elect Earle by acclamation; Greg King seconded. The appointment was approved by voice vote 16–0.
The appointment took place at the start of the regular session at the Franklin County Annex Building in Winchester. The board’s deputy clerk, Tammy Durm, recorded the minutes. No objections or alternative nominees were recorded during the session.
