Commissioner Carl Buckner moved and Commissioner Stacey Batey seconded approval of the Sept. 18, 2023 commission minutes, which passed by unanimous aye voice vote. The commission heard no public comments and received no committee reports.
On financial matters, Commissioner Cindi Gray moved and Commissioner Ray Ledger seconded approval of the quarterly financial reports (all funds except schools) ending June 30, 2023; the motion passed unanimously. The commission then approved Resolution 10-2023-01, which authorizes amendments to the county’s General Purpose School Fund (Fund 141), Federal Projects Fund (Fund 142) and Central Cafeteria Fund (Fund 143).
