The agreement requires the county to pay $13,750 per month ($165,000 annually) and to provide up to one replacement ambulance if CMC submits a written replacement notice with make, model and price information.
Resolution text states CMC indicated a need to purchase a replacement ambulance in Fiscal Year 2024 at an estimated cost of $175,270 and that an escrow account had $139,410.74 available at the end of October 2023. To cover the projected shortfall and the replacement, the county recognized $146,000 from undesignated fund balance and allocated the amount to the appropriate expense account.
Commissioner Mitchell Cosby moved the amendment; Commissioner Nathan Epperson seconded. The motion carried on a roll call vote recorded as 21 for, 0 against.
