Dickson County Commission approves budget amendments, $1.4 million for paving and multiple contracts

The Dickson County Commission on Feb. 21 unanimously approved a package of resolutions that amend county budgets and authorize contracts and leases affecting paving, equipment and county facilities.
County Mayor Bob Rial presided over the meeting. Commissioners voted 10-0 (two members were recorded absent) to approve Resolution 02-2023-01, which authorizes certain amendments to all county funds except those established for schools. Commissioner Cindi Gray moved the resolution and Commissioner Dwight McIllwain seconded the motion; it passed by unanimous voice vote.
