At its Jan. 22 meeting, the Benton County Commission completed routine consent business and approved a consulting agreement for revenue enhancement.
The commission approved the meeting agenda (motion by Commissioner Jimmy Wiseman, seconded by Commissioner Sonny Hall) and later approved the December 2017 minutes (Wiseman/Ferguson). Commissioners also approved the Report of Public Utilities (Wiseman/Brandon) and the Benton County road list as submitted by the highway department (Wiseman/Brandon). The commission approved January 2018 notaries (motion Wiseman/Hall) and voted to pay two vendor invoices — A2H Invoice #42777 for $6,505.00 and Community Development Partners Invoice #7228 for $2,000.00 — after a motion by Commissioner Dayna Ferguson seconded by Wiseman; both payments were approved on a voice vote.
Mayor Barry Barnett took a commission vote to hire The Barrett Group for a Revenue Enhancement Consulting Agreement; the commission approved the hiring on a voice vote with all present voting Aye. The transcript does not include terms of the contract or the contract amount.
All consent items and contracts were recorded as unanimously approved among those present and will be reflected in county records.
