The consent package covered payroll issued Feb. 29 ($130,636.78) and March 15 ($128,738.36); vendor payments of $3,317.09 for January, $94,701.30 for February and $250,000.36 for March; and the county's regular financial and departmental reports. The board also appropriated $15,257.31 as the January 2024 local allotment for Social Services.
Stephen Kelley moved to approve the consent agenda; Randy Johnson seconded the motion. A roll call vote recorded Mr. Kelley, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Groseclose and Chairman Keith Costello voting yea.
The approvals maintain the county's scheduled vendor and payroll obligations and fulfill the school board’s requisition ahead of the county’s spring budget review. The board recessed the meeting until an April 10 budget forum where broader budget issues will be discussed.
