Emergency Management Director Nic Modrzynski reported logistical support arriving from Region 7 including 10 barricades (6 feet by 4 feet), a new 800 radio, upcoming training in Roscommon, and EOC planning and meetings with local chiefs and city officials. Central Dispatch Director Kim Elkie reported October call volume of 4,288 calls, average answer time 2.7 seconds, average call length 1 minute 29 seconds, pending Motorola and MPSCS updates on radio infrastructure, CAD integration work for fire and EMS vendors, and that FEMA approved reimbursement for the $5,000 deductible on a sheriff's office freezer compressor (insurance will cover part and county staff are pursuing remaining donation reimbursements). The committee received and filed Ambulance Fund and Medical Examiner reports as presented.
