Dave Wheeler described local restaurant turnover in East Jordan and said he is pursuing conversion of two properties to sober‑living homes if zoning allows. Marshal Bakker reported Banks Township voted to retain its zoning ordinance and noted Michigan’s changes to gasoline and EV registration fees intended to raise road funding.
