Committee approves Road Commission vacancy notice; applications due Sept. 23

Administrator Jesse Osmer presented the ad for review and explained the recruitment timeline: applications will be accepted through Sept. 23, 2025; the committee and board will evaluate applicants in October, with the full board expected to approve recommendations in November. Commissioner John Kozlowski moved to approve posting the vacancies and Commissioner Todd Britton supported the motion; the committee approved the posting (Action Item #2).
The advertisement will be published on the county website, social media and in the newspaper. No candidate appointments were made at the Sept. 2 committee meeting.
