Charlevoix County parks committee elects officers, approves minutes and sets 2025 meeting schedule

At its February meeting, the Charlevoix County Parks Advisory Committee elected Brian Williams as chair, Robin Berry as vice chair and Cindy Banner as secretary after amending the agenda to add officer elections. Motions and seconding members were recorded in the minutes: the chair election motion was put by Robin (second by Lisa); the vice chair motion by Brian (second by Cindy); the secretary motion by Brian (second by Lisa). Voice votes were recorded as "all in favor."
The committee also approved the minutes of the Oct. 21, 2024 meeting on a motion from Lisa Alexander, seconded by Cindy Banner; again the minutes record a voice vote of all in favor. The committee set its 2025 meeting dates for April 21 (Boyne City Hall), July 21 (Whiting's), Oct. 20 (Whiting's) and Jan. 2026 at Boyne City Hall.
A motion by Craig Williams, seconded by Lisa Alexander, adjourned the meeting; Chairman Brian Williams adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m. Minutes were submitted by Cindy Banner, secretary.
