Fulton County dismisses one Domestic Relations employee, seeks Enforcement Officer 1 and confirms several board appointments

During the Dec. 16 meeting the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved several personnel actions and appointments.
Commissioners met with Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress, and Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to dismiss a Domestic Relations employee, effective Monday, Dec. 8, 2025; the motion carried unanimously. Commissioners also approved advertising for an Enforcement Officer 1 for the Domestic Relations Department, to be posted both internally and externally.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to appoint Thomas Peppernick to the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2027; the appointment was approved unanimously. Commissioner Hann moved to reappoint Margie McGuire (Contractor), Paula Shives (Member-at-Large), Thomas Morton (Elected Official), and Daniel Schriever (Member-at-Large) to two-year terms on the Fulton County Agricultural Land Preservation Board, with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2027; the reappointments were approved unanimously.
A brief Retirement Board meeting also convened at 9:15 a.m. to set the employee pension contribution rate; separate minutes were noted as on file. The full meeting minutes record these personnel and appointment actions and show unanimous votes on each item.
