Commissioners appoint interim committee coverage during medical leave and conduct Prothonotary interviews

Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to appoint Commissioner Steven L. Wible to perform duties for assigned committees when a colleague begins medical leave; the board also held executive sessions and conducted interviews for the Prothonotary's Office.
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 3 approved an internal personnel action to ensure committee duties would be covered during an upcoming medical leave and conducted interviews for the Prothonotary's Office.
Motion by Commissioner Randy H. Bunch appointed Commissioner Steven L. Wible to perform duties for committees assigned to the absent commissioner once that medical leave begins; the motion carried with all in favor. Earlier in the morning the board entered an executive session for personnel matters from 10:35 a.m. to 10:53 a.m. and later held another personnel executive session in the afternoon from 1:18 p.m. to 1:38 p.m.
Following the afternoon executive session the commissioners, the HR Administrator and the Chief Clerk conducted interviews for candidates for the Prothonotary's Office. The minutes record that separate minutes are on file for certain hearings and that interviews took place; they do not record candidate names or hiring outcomes in the public minutes.
