Chairman Robert Ternes called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The clerk read the roll; members present were Robert Ternes, Brendan Becher, Vern Straub, Matt Hager, AlRoy Hochhalter and Robert Larson. Jackie Steinmetz was listed as Tax Director. The meeting record shows the public in attendance included Steff Basgaard of Knife River Materials.
The board approved the agenda on a motion by Robert Larson, seconded by Vern Straub, and approved the prior meeting minutes on a motion by Vern Straub, seconded by Matt Hager; both motions carried.
Under new business the board approved the following permits (motions passed unanimously): a 16-by-10-foot wood deck for Tom Steffes at 6854 West Schatz Drive (Schatz Subdivision, Block 1 Lot 3), permit #Sz-06132024-A; a 70-by-16-foot mobile home to be moved onto 6812 E Schatz Lane (Schatz 2nd Subdivision, Block 1 Lot 8) with a 15-by-30-foot porch for Megan Boyll, permit #Sz2-06132024-B; an 80-by-40-foot steel house with a 40-by-40-foot attached garage for Dwight Kitzan at 5444 70th Ave SW, Glen Ullin, permit #CO-06132024-C; and a 16-by-10-foot shed to be moved onto 5488 Care Free Ave (Red Rock Subdivision, Block 11 Lot 29) for Kingdom Investors, permit #RR-06132024-D.
Each item was moved, seconded and recorded as 'all in favor; motion carried' in the meeting minutes. The board set its next regular meeting for July 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. MT and adjourned at 9:39 a.m.
