Chairman Robert Ternes called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The board recorded members present and unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from the prior meeting.
In new business, Brendan Becher moved to approve a building permit for Gerald Stenehjem at 5462 Shoreline Ave., Block 3 Lot 8 of the Red Rock Subdivision (parcel 6-136-89). The permit authorizes construction of a 30-by-20-foot garage and a 24-by-10-foot deck. Matt Hager seconded the motion; the board voted unanimously to approve Permit #RR-07112024-A.
Barb Kraft moved to approve a second permit for Brett and Timbere Zenker at 6183 50th Ave., Flasher (10-135-86 SE), authorizing a 28-by-12-foot deck and a 6-foot garage bump-out. Kraft noted during the motion that the work "had already been built." Vern Straub seconded; the motion carried unanimously and Permit #CO-07112024-B was issued.
The board also received an update on the North Plains Connector under old business; the minutes record the update but do not include further details. The board set its next regular meeting for Aug. 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Robert Larson moved to adjourn; Matt Hager seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 9:28 a.m.
