The Grant County Commissioners unanimously approved routine county bills totaling $16,483.64 and completed several administrative votes at their Nov. 19, 2025 meeting.
The board approved payment of invoices amounting to $16,483.64 after a motion from Commissioner Al Roy Hochhalter and a second from Commissioner Marty Meyer; Commissioners Hochhalter, Meyer and Chairman Alton Zenker all voted aye. The minutes list paid vendors including GWorks ($12,225.00), Axon Enterprise Inc. ($1,323.20), West River Transit-related charges and other smaller vendor payments; detailed vendor amounts are recorded in the county minutes.
In a separate motion, Commissioners approved a payment of $14,459.50 to West River Transit toward the purchase of a 2024 Chrysler Voyager LX for the Council on Aging. Commissioner Hochhalter moved the payment and Commissioner Meyer seconded; the board said the funds will be drawn from the mill levy and a mill-levy match specifically designated for the Council on Aging, and the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
The board also approved an annual $300 allocation to be used as awards for participation in the county Wellness Program after a motion by Commissioner Meyer and a second by Commissioner Hochhalter, and it granted a beer and liquor license for Gunny's Bar & Off Sale for the period Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2026 following a motion by Commissioner Hochhalter and second by Commissioner Meyer. Both motions passed unanimously.
No formal dissent was recorded in the minutes; the meeting record lists the motions, movers, seconders and unanimous roll call tallies for the votes described above. The meeting adjourned at 11:44 a.m.; the county announced future meeting dates and holiday courthouse closures in the minutes.
