Morton County commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 24 to adopt a $34,917,727 county budget for 2025 and to set a 2024 tax levy of $14,056,624 during their regular meeting at the Morton County Courthouse in Mandan.
The action followed a brief public hearing on the budget that Chair Nathan Boehm opened at 6:01 p.m. Resident Robert Fode asked a question about his estimated statement; Boehm closed the hearing at 6:08 p.m. Commissioners then approved the budget and levy on a motion from Commissioner Morrell seconded by Commissioner Buckley.
