Tift County schedules clerk and attorney appointments for Dec. 9; board enters executive session on personnel and legal matters
Summary

During commissioner comments, Melissa Hughes asked Community Development Services Director Chad Branch to provide an update on dilapidated structures, and Donnie Hester asked about the property revaluation process. The board then moved into executive session: Commissioner Greg Wood moved to enter executive session to discuss legal and personnel matters; Commissioner Paul Webb seconded the motion and it carried 6-0. Wood later moved to adjourn the executive session; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Melissa Hughes and carried 6-0. Chairman Tony McBrayer closed the work session.
No substantive votes on appointments were taken during the work session; formal action on appointments is scheduled for the Dec. 9 regular meeting.
