Victim Witness Assistance Program Director Jodie Spooner told the board the new prosecution-based VOCA grant cycle began Oct. 1 and that the FY25 award totals $130,101. Spooner said the office served 2,299 victims in FY24 and provided roughly 18,000 services. County Manager Jim Carter confirmed staff recommended the agreement be placed on the consent agenda for formal approval at the regular meeting.
