Chief Finance Officer Darlow Maxwell said the FY 2022 proposed budget totals $10,630,290 for revenues and expenditures and identified the accompanying special and capital funds the board considered, including the Sheriff Special Revenue Fund, Drug Abuse, Jail Fund, Special Investigations, Supplemental Juvenile, Emergency 911, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) 2021 Fund, Development Authority funds, L.M.I.G., SPLOST 2011, SPLOST 2017 and Transportation (T-SPLOST).
Chairman Steve Taylor read the formal resolution presenting the FY 2022 proposed budget. Vice-Chair Hope Harmon moved to adopt the resolution “as presented” for the 2022 proposed general fund and the listed special and capital funds; Commissioner Daniel Cowan seconded the motion. The motion passed with Vice-Chair Hope Harmon, Commissioner Daniel Cowan and Chairman Steve Taylor voting in favor. Commissioners John Mooney and Bennie Calloway are recorded in the minutes as absent.
