Residents press commissioners to ask Board of Elections to consider resolution over alleged election breach

Jim Hudson of Ambrose said he had attended multiple Board of Elections meetings about his concerns and urged the Commission to recommend the resolution he had provided. Larry Nesmith, Olivia Coley Pearson and Kathryn Grant also spoke concerning the alleged breach and asked the Commission to support Hudson’s Resolution. The transcript records that Ms. Pearson specifically asked the Commission to recommend the resolution to the Board of Elections.
Commissioner Johnny Wayne Jowers addressed issues raised by citizens but the meeting record does not show a formal motion, a referral, or a vote to send the Resolution to the Board of Elections. The Commission adjourned at 10:57 a.m.
