Hardin County awards two road overlay contracts to low bidder CMM Construction and solicits materials/debris bids

Hardin County Commissioners on Jan. 28 reviewed and approved bid results for two road overlay projects in Precinct 1 and authorized further solicitations for materials and disaster debris services. Purchasing Agent Misty Sims presented the Barrows Drive project (approximately 4,400 sq. yds) and the Bryan Lane project (approximately 2,444 sq. yds); in both cases the court awarded contracts to low bidder CMM Construction.
The court also authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit bids for materials and emulsions for all Road & Bridge departments and to solicit bids for emergency/disaster debris removal and debris monitoring. Motions to award and solicit bids passed by recorded votes with Commissioners Cooper, Kirkendall and Koch and Judge McDaniel voting in favor.
